Today I was turned down for a job and it made me happy. Now, before you think I'm totally nuts, I was bummed that I was turned down - it would've been a neat job. But the great part is that I was notified! I received a very nice little email that actually made me feel good about losing it.
In the past couple of months I have applied for several jobs. Until now, only TWO of them have even acknowledged my resume. And the first company put me through an extensive interview that required a portfolio and never even had the courtesy to let me know that my ten hours of work was for nothing. But this little company... great communication. Love it!
Like I said - it's the little things. :)
